Peace, Love & Goodwill

As you may know, we take great pride in our event planning and rental services. Each year, we have the wonderful opportunity to help businesses, organizations, and non-profits to make their event a success. We recently teamed up with Linda Burgett, Director of Brand Development for Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma, fabricating an amazing backdrop for the Peace Love & Goodwill Festival. 

Goodwill Industries of Central Oklahoma, or GICO, is a non-profit organization that operates many free programs and services. The organization is also dedicated to career development and job training for people with mental and physical disabilities. Since 1936, its main goal has been to help the underprivileged to achieve a level of independence and self-sufficiency.

Inspired by the community and a desire to positively impact our city, the Peace Love & Goodwill Festival was designed to provide a one-of-a-kind experience for local families. The event was held in downtown Oklahoma City at the Myriad Gardens on June 5 and the proceeds from the event were used to benefit Goodwill’s youth programs.

Conventions & More assisted with a variety of items including event planning and venue setup along with tent, table, chair, linen, and drapery rentals. Goodwill Industries received a great amount of praise for the event and experienced an amazing turnout.
